Railtel Corporation of India Limited intends to appoint a bright, committed and professionals with brilliant academic record aspirant [only Indian Nationals] for the position of "General Manager & Additional General Manager".

Brief Summary of Vacancies:- {Vacancy Notice No. RCIL/2015/P&A/44/22}

01. General Manager:- (E-8). [i] Vacancies: 02 UR. [ii] Age: Max. 56 years. [iii] Salary: Rs. 51,300-73,000/= pm.

02. Additional General Manager:- (E-7). [i] Vacancies: 02 UR. [ii] Age: Max. 56 years. [iii] Salary: Rs. 43,200-66,000/= pm.

Qualification:- Should have possessed Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Electronics or Electronics & Comm./ Telecom or Electrical & Electronics or Information Technology or Computer Science or in any other subject where Electronics is the main discipline (like Electronics & Instrumentation).

Note:- All educational/ professional qualifications are required to have been from a Recognized University/ Deemed University/ Autonomous Institutions incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature in India or UGC Act or from institutions recognized by AICTE or any other accrediting Organization under the Government of India.

Experience:- Should have experience of 20 years’ or more for GM level and 17 years or more for Addl. GM level.

Location of Posting:- Selected applicant would be liable to be posted/ transferred anywhere in India in administrative interest, preferably Delhi/ NCR.

Selection Methodology:- Selection will be done on the basis of educational qualification, experience and performance of the candidate in the Psycho Aptitude Test/ Medical Examination/ Skill Test/ Personal Interview [as applicable]. Screening will be based on the details provided by the candidate; hence, it is necessary that applicants should furnish only accurate, full and correct information. The final decision of selection will be at the sole discretion of the management.

Note:- It if it found that some wrong information has been furnished or some vital information, on the basis of which the selection has been made, has been concealed by the applicant, his candidature will be liable to be cancelled. If such applicant has been selected/appointed, such selection/ appointment will be terminated without any show cause notice at any point of time of his employment in RailTel.

Period of Probation:- Shall be for One year. The period of Probation shall be regulated as per extant RailTel’s Rules.

Service Bond with Surety:- Selected candidates are required to execute a Service Bond of Rs. Two Lakh to serve RailTel for a period of Three years from the date of joining. The service agreement has to be signed by one surety and two witnesses.

Application Fees [Non-refundable & Non-transferrable]:- All candidates are required to pay Rs. 1,000/=. Belonging to SC/ ST category candidates are required to remit Rs. 500/=. Requisite Application Fee will be paid in the shape of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “‘RailTel Corporation of India Limited” payable at New Delhi. Candidates are advised to write their Name/ post applied for, Father’s Name, DOB and Contact phone number & email ID on the back side of Demand Draft.

To & Fro Travel Fare:- Applicants attending interview will be reimbursed ‘to and fro’ First Class AC train fair or actual expenditure incurred by them for attending the interview, whichever is less.
